Mechanical Reflection: Q: What questions do you have about either the screencasting with Google Forms integration system, or Ed Ted? Any other comments?
My biggest question that I originally had was answered when I finally read other posts and figured out that I needed to put my screencast in a Youtube video format so that I could then attach it. Ramsey's screencast/Vimeo really helped clarify how to add the details. I really see a great use for utilizing this for both teachers and students to use. I realized my AVID students could make a small instructional videos for future students. I wanted to make a screencast that was meaningful, rather than anything. And, I realized that I've had a handful of students ask me how to make a Google Doc. So, I decided to make a screencast that shows them how to construct a document! Brilliant.
I am really interested in pursuing and perusing the Ed Ted site. I really like how you can take Youtube videos or Ed Ted videos and personalize them for your classroom needs. As we slowly move toward PBL, I think this will be a strong resource.
